Andrea Berti (Organist)
Andrea Berti started to study the organ and the composition for organ at the Civico Istituto Musicale "Franco Vittadini" in Pavia, He has been pupil of Mrs Claudia Vignani and then of Mrs Roberta Schmid. After his degree in Natural Science, he moves to Aosta where he accomplishes his studies of music under the lead of Mr Paolo Bougeat. In 2001 he collaborated on a project of indexing and cataloging of the valuable organs in the area of Pavia, promoted by the "Settore Cultura della Provincia di Pavia".
In 2007 he followed the masterclass "L'organo sinfonico in Italia ed in Francia" held by Paolo Bougeat, Andrea Macinanti and Frédéric Ledroit.
In 2008 he participated to "Académie internationale d'orgue d'Issenheim" (France) where he followed the courses of interpretation and improvisation for organ with Daniel Roth, Eric Lebrun, Andrea Macinanti and Daniel Maurer.
He played in different organ festivals in Italy, France and Germany.
He is a qualified Maths and Science Teacher at the State Secondary School and he puts beside this his love for music.
