Antonio Galanti was born in Volterra (Pisa) in 1964. He studied at the Florence Conservatory where he graduated in Piano, Composition, Organ, Band Instrumentation and Choral Music. He won the first prize in the «VII Concours Suisse de l’Orgue» (Switzerland, 1989) and in the «XXXI Festival Musica Antiqua» (Belgium, 1994). Between 1989 and 1999 he taught organ at the Avellino, Udine and Sassari Conservatories. Since 1999 he has been teaching at the Alessandria Conservatory, as professor of Harmony, Counterpoint, Fugue and Composition. Since 1995 he has been organist at the church of the Saints Iacopo and Lucia in San Miniato -Pisa- and since 2011 he has been honorary organist at the church of the Saints Andrea and Lucia in Ripoli -Pisa-. Since 2005 he has been honorary ministerial inspector of the historical organs in the provinces of Pisa and Livorno. He has played in Italy, France, Switzerland, Austria, ex-Yugoslavia, Malta, Germany, Belgium, Poland and Ukraine. He has published essays, monographies, CDs and radio recordings, compositions, arrangements, orchestrations and critical editions for Bèrben, Billaudot (France), Carrara, ElleDiCi, EurArte, La Bottega Discantica, Pizzicato (Switzerland) e Rugginenti. Since 2004 he has been editing the column «Music reviews» on the monthly «Suonare news».





Matteo Venturini was born in Florence in 1981. He graduated “cum laude” at the “Luigi Cherubini” Conservatory of Florence obtaining a diploma in Organ and Composition for Organ and a diploma in Composition. He completed his studies at the Musikhochschule in Freiburg in Breisgau, under the guidance of Klemens Schnorr, receiving a diploma as Organ Concert Master and at the Istituto Pontificio di Musica Sacra in Rome, under the guidance of Theo Flury osb receving a Post-Gradum “cum laude” diploma of Organ Improvisation. Winner of eight competitions for organ, among which the «Third international competition “Andrea Antico da Montona”» (Croatia), he performs as concert musician in prestigious international music festivals in Italy, Croatia, France, Germany, Spain and Switzerland. He has recorded for OnClassical, E-plus, EMARecords, Fugatto; he has published his own compositions as well as revisions of choral and organ music for Carrara and EurArte publishers and has recorded for Radio 3, Vatican Radio, the Croatia National Radio and the German Südwestrundfunk. He is organist at the church of the Saints Iacopo and Lucia and at the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and San Genesio in San Miniato -Pisa- and teaches Organ and Musical Theory at the “Giuseppe Bonamici” Music School in Pisa.
