Philippe Delacour (Organist)
Philippe Delacour studied at the Metz Conservatory with M.KRIER and P.GAZIN. As a student, he obtained six First Prizes and two"Premiers Prix Superieurs a 1'unanimite" for both piano and organ. He then continued to perfect his abilities as a student of M.C.ALAIN, at which point he won the Grand Prix for virtuosity. He teaches at the Metz Conservatory and performs frequently in concerts in France and abroad, both in recitals and with orchestras. He holds the positions of organist at Saint Maurice Church in Freyming, and at Notre Dame in Metz, home of the Cavaille-Coll organ. Philippe Delacour has recently made numerous recordings and two Videos.
